Free online training aims to bridge research with real-world application for students, researchers, and university staff across Europe.
The Biotech Venture Pathway Project, has officially launched its comprehensive entrepreneurship training programme. This free, fully online programme is designed to bridge the crucial gap between cutting-edge research and real-world application within the dynamic biotechnology sector.
Aimed at a broad spectrum of participants, including students (Bachelor, Master’s, PhD), early-stage researchers, and academic and non-academic university staff, the programme seeks to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset and equip individuals with the essential tools needed to transform biotech innovations into tangible solutions. No prior entrepreneurial experience is required, fostering an inclusive environment for all curious minds eager to explore the commercial and societal potential of biotech.
The programme’s curriculum is structured to provide hands-on experience in biotech innovation, technology transfer, and venture creation. Participants will gain core skills in identifying and evaluating biotech opportunities, understanding intellectual property strategies, building effective business models for startups, and communicating scientific ideas with clarity and impact. Staff participants will specifically learn to promote entrepreneurial thinking, support student innovation, and engage with funding mechanisms to drive institutional change.
