EIT-Funded Biotech Programme Extends Flexible Enrolment Window Through December

10/3/2025

The Biotech Venture Pathway Programme, has announced an open, flexible enrolment period extending until the end of December 2025. While the training officially commenced on October 1st, this extension ensures that students, researchers, and staff can access the self-paced, free programme at a time that suits their schedule.

Led by the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (ULPGC) in Spain and fully funded by EIT Food, the programme addresses the critical need to bridge the gap between academic research and commercial application. Its structure is entirely 100% online and flexible, allowing participants to complete modules at their own pace without rigid deadlines.

The programme offers a dual track tailored to its diverse audience:

  • Students and researchers gain essential entrepreneurial skills, learning to transform biotech ideas into viable ventures through modules on IP strategy, business model development, and effective scientific communication.
  • Academic and professional staff receive concrete tools to drive institutional change, focusing on fostering an innovation culture, strengthening technology transfer, and implementing effective funding strategies within their university environment.

This flexible access ensures that busy professionals and academic staff across Europe can participate without compromising their existing commitments, maximising the programme’s reach and impact across the continent’s higher education ecosystem.

The training is an exceptional opportunity for anyone involved in life sciences, engineering, and data science who seeks to translate technical knowledge into real-world solutions.

Interested participants can enrol and begin their self-paced learning journey immediately:
